Marmi & Graniti Viza s.n.c. was founded in the 70s in Lugo di Valpantena by the entrepreneur Silvio Vicentini.
Production originally involved processing marble from Verona and other parts of Italy for paving and other uses.
Back in the 80s, when working granite was by no means easy, Silvio added this material to his production and it soon became the firm’s main activity.
In the early 90s his sons Enrico, Martino and Michele joined him in running the company and together they founded Canova Graniti in Stallavena.
This synergy opened the way to further expansion, with the addition of a new production site in Corrubbio in Valpolicella, whose foundation marks the establishment of Viza Canova Group. The same spirit that had inspired Silvio when he embarked on granite processing is reflected in his sons who in 2014 proposed a new product to the stone market: TexStone Design.
TexStone Design represents a new way of understanding natural stone and confirming its historical and artistic value.
Each composition, whether standard or customised, is unique and special.
Each texture is the result of a careful geometric study which emphasises the material, reinterpreting its compositions and veining.
Since our production starts from the block, our strength lies in the ability to provide answers to any request customers may have and as a result solve all possible problems related to each case. From the same block we can obtain flooring, wall cladding, stairs and kitchen tops, thus ensuring maximum uniformity and colour consistency. The Vicentini brothers are present on site and able to follow all processing stages to ensure the highest quality.
The rough block is squared with the diamond wire and then divided and allocated to different processes. With the gang saw we obtain slabs of any thickness, just as with the block cutters we get strips. Finishing gives us polished, honed, brushed or flamed surfaces. We cut the slabs to produce processed stone of any shaping. The edges of treads and tops can be polished, honed or brush-finished.
